The assessment and examination system at IPS is followed by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and it is designed to assess the knowledge, skills, and understanding of students in various subjects. IPS follows a standardized evaluation system which includes the following:

  • The Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) system to assess students’ performance holistically throughout the academic year.
  • Formative Assessments (FAs) are conducted throughout the year and are designed to assess the day-to-day progress and understanding of students.
  • Summative Assessments (SAs) are conducted after completing every chapter, Once in a month.
  • Grading System CBSE follows a 9-point grading system for assessing students’ performance in both FAs and SAs.
  • Three Periodic Test we take.
  • Two Term Examination we conduct very first just after completing 50% of Syllabus and another after completing whole syllabus.
  • Practical Examinations :CBSE conducts practical examinations, which are an integral part of the assessment process.
